The tables people belong to

Small Plates & Co. publishes them: a family's Sunday, a restaurant's fifty years, a chef's first kitchen, a hotel's dining room. Each one is made once, with the people who keep that table, and kept where the cooking happens.

The tables we write

The founders

Ana and Ricardo

The house began with cookbooks written by whole families together, one recipe from each person at the table. The Private Collection is the house at its most considered. Ana is a sommelier, and she chooses the wine for every dish that asks for one. Between them, they read every page of every book before it goes to print.

    Bound in linen

Natural linen, with a monogram drawn for that table and pressed into the cover.

  • The closed book from the side, thick pages and a ribbon

    Made to be cooked from

Heavy, uncoated paper, a ribbon to keep the place, and a second edition for the stove.
